That may well have been the best episode on NCIS LA I’ve ever seen.

• Densi being actually 12 when they were distracting Snyder.
• Snyder dying. Not in a “I hate him I’m glad he’s dead” way, but in a “holy shit, the writers actually killed off a recurring character” way
• Arkady remains the most awesome thing in the universe.
• That moment towards the end when you realise that, unless they rush the death/capture of Siderov, this whole storyline isn’t over. Yes, I’ve been waiting for LA to do a season-long storyline line my whole life.
• I love Sam/Michelle, but Arkady is clearly a Sallen shipper. Callen ducking out of the brewing argument between Sam and Michelle was hilarious.
• I called that it was a relationship questionnaire that Kensi was filling in.  And I love that Nell started asking Eric those same questions, not knowing what it was. I wish she’d had a line about “Kensi was filling this in with Deeks?” But the fact that she caught them discussing making ninja assassin babies…
• I really dislike “Hey, this new character you’re meeting, we all know him from something else hat we didn’t show you.” Hate hate hate that.
• Kensi protesting too much about how Deeks isn’t her type, and there’s no thing there. But other CIA guy? Dude, you came off as creepy. “If you were my Partner, I’d fall in love with you.” Ugh.
• Kensi asking Deeks to never leave her, her voice actually breaking. I just wish Deeks had said he couldn’t promise, but he’ll do everything in his power to make sure it doesn’t happen.Also, nice call back to the cryogenic freezing.
• Deeks calling “You smell like sunshine,” almost broke me. But not as much as him muttering “And gunpowder. My two favourite things.”
